This session will review the physical inventory process, from initial setups to the recommended procedures. With a thorough understanding of how to utilize the features available, you can help ensure that the information is accurate.

Ensuring the Price is Right

Product categories play a pivotal role in determining a product’s cost and price. This session will review the relationship between product categories and cost to help you assign the correct price to an item.

The Fundamentals of Accounting

This session will provide an overview of the basic functions and processes in the AP and GL. Whether you’re new to the Primarius suite or an experienced user, this session will cover the best practices and key features to help in your daily job.

Grant Unto Them

This session will provide a look at a grant’s lifecycle, from the initial entry to application. Additional topics include the differences in grant management between the two systems as well as improvements made to the process.

There are multiple ways you can create agency limits. This session will review agency limits by product or category, as well as enabling them for a set time period. Additionally, this session will review the improvements and changes made to the agency limits in P2.

This session will provide a complete overview of the new volunteer portal. Here you will learn how P2 can make it easier for you to manage the volunteers within your community.

This session will be an open discussion centered on balancing procedures, including recommend reports and best practices.

This session will introduce the new integrated features in P2 that enable you to process various accounting transactions. In addition, time will be spent looking at new functionality as it pertains to the chart of accounts, budgets, and templates.

The Weight of a Pug

This session will provide a live demonstration of how-to setup and integrate a scale with Primarius Classic. With the scale running, this session will cover the efficiency gains and accuracy improvements that come with an integrated scale.

The Community Census

Regardless of which Primarius system you use, there are ways to gather information from your agencies. This session will review how to gather statistical data as well as gleaning data from stock reports, including pertinent USDA information and tax-exempt certifications.

A Direct Route to Efficiency

Using retail pick and food rescue as an example, this session will review how to streamline your receipt and order processing by making full use of P2’s scheduling and routing features. To help you manage multiple orders, this session will include ways to set up multiple docks and trucks.

Once an agency places an order, a series of events starts in motion. This session will cover those events, from open AR to agency payments and deposits. In addition, this session will also cover agency statements in both paper format and electronic delivery.

Agency relations play an integral role in maintaining a healthy community. This session will review how ways to maintain agency contact details, including scheduled monitoring and food safety certifications.

A food bank can implement many programs in service to their community. This session will review some of the more common initiatives, including retail pickup, mobile pantries, and food rescue programs.

P2 Snapshot

This session will cover the P2 rollout, including planned enhancements. In addition, this will review the process of converting from the current desktop system to P2.
